TutMeet Is Live: Find Online Teachers & Home Tutors for Every Subject

Published 10/31/2026

TutMeet is now live — a free online tutoring marketplace where students and parents can find online teachers and home tutors for every subject, and where teachers can find students without paying for expensive advertising. Whether you want to learn the Quran with Tajweed, get help with school subjects, learn a new language, or build a practical skill, TutMeet brings reviewed teachers and serious learners together in one place.

What is TutMeet?

TutMeet is a two-sided marketplace for one-to-one online classes. Students and parents use it to browse teacher profiles or to describe exactly what they need in a job post. Teachers use it to present their subjects, experience and rates on a public profile, and to apply for the jobs students post.

Every teacher profile is reviewed before it becomes public, and every job post is checked before it appears in the teaching jobs board. That review step is deliberate: it keeps the directory honest, so the profiles and posts you see are real.

How TutMeet works for students and parents

Browse reviewed teacher profiles

Start on the Find a Tutor page and filter by subject, level and teaching language. Each profile shows what the teacher teaches, the levels they cover, the languages they can explain in, and their own rate — fees are set by each teacher, so you can compare before you ever send a message.

Post your requirement for free

If you would rather have teachers come to you, post a job for free. Describe the subject, the student's level, whether lessons should be online or at home, and anything else that matters — a preferred teacher gender, a language of explanation, or a schedule. Your post is reviewed first, then published, and matching teachers can apply to it.

Contact teachers directly

Found a teacher you like? You can contact teachers directly through the platform — your first three direct contacts are completely free. After that, a direct contact costs 50 credits (credits are explained below). There is no charge for browsing, posting a job, or receiving applications.

How TutMeet works for teachers

Create your free profile

Teachers join TutMeet free and build a profile with a headline, a short biography, subjects, teaching levels, languages, experience and a rate. Profiles are reviewed before they go public — this protects students, and it also protects good teachers, because a reviewed directory is one students trust.

Apply for teaching jobs

Once your profile is approved, browse the online teaching jobs that students and parents have posted and apply to the ones that fit your subjects and schedule. Your first job application after profile approval is free, so you can win your first student without spending anything.

How credits work

TutMeet runs on a simple credit system: 150 credits = $1. Credits are used for actions like applying to additional jobs or contacting students directly, and your balance and prices are always shown before you spend anything — there are no hidden charges. Students never need credits to browse or to post a job.

Watch: step-by-step video guides

We have published two short video tutorials on the TutMeet YouTube channel that walk you through everything, screen by screen:

If you are new to the platform, watch the guide for your side first — each one takes less than four minutes.

Subjects you can learn — and teach

TutMeet covers far more than one subject. The directory is organised into groups, including:

  • Quranic studies — Noorani Qaida, Nazra, Hifz and Quran with Tajweed, for kids and adults
  • School subjects — mathematics, English, science and more, across primary and secondary levels
  • College and university subjects — for students who need degree-level support
  • Languages — including Arabic, English and Urdu
  • Skills and technology — practical skills taught one-to-one, online

Because lessons are one-to-one, the pace, the schedule and the explanations are built around a single student — not a classroom average.

Frequently asked questions

Is TutMeet free to join?

Yes. Joining is free for students, parents and teachers. Students can browse profiles and post a job for free, and their first three direct contacts with teachers are free. Teachers create a profile for free, and their first job application after approval is free. Some later actions use credits, and the price is always shown first.

Which subjects can I learn on TutMeet?

All of them — that is the point of the marketplace. Quran with Tajweed and other Quranic studies, school subjects, college and university subjects, languages, and skills and technology. If a subject has a teacher, it can be learned here; if you cannot find one yet, post the requirement as a job and let teachers apply.

How do teachers get students on TutMeet?

Two ways. First, a complete, approved profile can be found by students browsing the directory, who may contact the teacher directly. Second, teachers can apply to the jobs that students and parents post on the jobs board. A clear profile — real subjects, real levels, a fair rate, and a biography written in your own words — is what turns views into students.

What are credits, and what do they cost?

Credits are the platform's internal balance for paid actions, priced at 150 credits = $1. They are used, for example, when a teacher applies to additional jobs after the free first application, or when a student makes a direct contact after the three free ones. You always see the exact credit cost before confirming anything.
